Energy audit and major overhaul of 31 selected stations across Germany as part of the measures within the framework of the “Konjunkturprogramm” as one example for major energy upgrades of buildings

Energy efficiency gains:

Primary energy savings of 33% on average or 13,7 GWh in total for all 31 stations:
- All buildings to meet the energy-related stipulations of the least EnEV
- Some stations surpass even EnEV of 2009.
- Excellent: Primary energy savings of 90% at the station Rosenheim


Costs (investment, operation, maintenance):

- The investment costs are not available.

- Cost reductions related to the reduced energy consumption (approx. 1 mio. € saved when the energy price is 75€/MWh)
